Hello everyone again! I’m here with a brand new project. In this assignment, we were required to work in groups of three using Google Docs to choose a film and analyze it. In the review, we included different sections such as film background, plot summary, analysis of key elements, and overall evaluation and recommendation. Each group member was responsible for different sections of the review, which helped us divide the workload effectively. After that, we exchanged feedback with another group using the “commenter” feature.
Together with my group members Rümeysa Betül Demir and Defne Abay, we chose the film Nowhere. After watching the film, we divided the writing task into stages. This division of work helped us manage our time effectively and ensured that each section was carefully developed.
Using Google Docs was very practical, and it provided strong interactivity for group work. We were able to edit the document in real time, leave comments for each other, and make changes instantly without needing to send multiple versions of the file. One of the biggest advantages was being able to edit and give feedback instantly without waiting for different file versions.
The feedback we received from another group was also very helpful, as it allowed us to view our work from a reader’s perspective and improve the clarity and detail of our analysis.
Overall, I found Google Docs very useful for group work. It made interaction easier and improved the efficiency of our collaboration. I will definitely use this tool again for myself and with my future students. You can find our full review here. Also here is the screenshots:
